1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using the The Pin App mobile app (“The Pin App”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Pin App. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Beta software

The Pin App is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data loss is possible. The app is provided for testing and evaluation, and you should keep your own backup of important collection information — the app includes an export feature for this purpose.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to The Pin App, including your collection data and photos. By adding content, you grant The Pin App a limited license to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the app and to show your public profile according to your settings. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to use it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use The Pin App for any unlawful purpose;
• upload content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its backend;
• harass, impersonate, or deceive other users.

7. Trades between users

The Pin App provides tools for collectors to list pins for trade and connect with one another. The Pin App is not a party to any trade, sale, or exchange arranged between users, does not verify pins or users, and is not responsible for the conduct of users or the outcome of any trade. Trades are made at your own risk.

8. Termination

You may stop using The Pin App and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, or where needed to protect the app or its users.

9. Disclaimers

The Pin App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that valuations or other computed information are accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Pin App and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or collection value, arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use as The Pin App develops. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
